Bonjour ! My name is Cindy. I earned a doctoral degree in Romance Languages and Linguistics in 2014 with a focus in French. I have also been teaching French since 2007. In short, all of this means that I am incredibly passionate about language education and all of the benefits that come along with it, including opportunities to travel to French-speaking countries.
I have planned solo trips, girls’ trips, multigenerational family trips, educational trips, and many more to France – and they have all been phenomenal! France is the most-visited country in Europe and a destination that’s easy to fall in love with.
Over the years, I have had many people ask for advice about traveling to France and other francophone destinations. Because I enjoy sharing that knowledge and seeing others experience this beautiful language and its various cultures, I created Traveling with PIP as way to better serve future travelers to one of my favorite places on the planet. Bon voyage !
Traveling with PIP exists for two reasons:
Because opening our hearts and minds to other cultures is an integral part of fostering global citizenship – the idea that we are all in this thing together as citizens of the world – a positive experience traveling abroad is likely to lead to more exploration. More travel and education promote the desire to nurture our global citizenry. It’s really that simple!
Paris is always a good idea.
